Starlink mini offers the prospect of portable high speed internet nearly anywhere you go. It comes with this AC power supply, which uses a 5.5mmx 2.1mm (5521) cable end and powers 30 volts at 2 amps for 60 watts. AC power is great if available, but can it be powered via battery packs?

Yes it can!

Here are two options that worked.

Option 1: An Anker 737 battery pack. with a USB-C to 5521 adapter cable

Here is the battery pack

And here is the adapter cable. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6DSS97R

And here is the complete rig. The power draw is well under 60 watts. The Anker estimates ~4.5 hours of battery life. And the Starlink is doing 100+ mbps

Option 2: Hook this joint up to a Dewalt battery

Any Dewalt 20V battery will do.

Theroerically you could wire and solder it yourself. Or you can just buy the adapter. This sits on top of the battery and will bring 100W USB-C in or out of the battery

And the rig. You can use the same USB-C to 5521 adapter cable from option 1
